SMSY (Paris) didn't build a portfolio. He built a world. Visit samsy.ninja and you'll navigate through a real-time 3D cyberpunk city — WASD to move, spacebar to jump — where each glowing billboard is a project he's shipped.

The whole environment runs on WebGPU at 76+ FPS. On a portfolio site. That's not a rendering gimmick; it's the résumé itself.

SMSY started in digital 12 years ago out of Paris-93, trained at Gobelins and through stints with Google Creative Lab. Since then, he's racked up 50+ international awards — including a Gold Cannes Lion, Awwwards Site of the Day + Dev Award (October 2025), CSS Design Awards WOTD, Adobe Cutting Edge, and FWA Days/Months/Year Award.

The work inside the world spans music visualizers (Jiometory: No Compute), large-scale interactive maps (World Expo Dubai 2020), and generative 3D experiments using DeepSDF latent spaces you can literally walk inside.

The portfolio is built with Vue.js, GSAP, and hand-rolled WebGL/WebGPU shaders. No template. No off-the-shelf engine. Every detail — the reflective floor, the neon sign glow, the little mascot with glowing red eyes — is authored.
